There is much talk about men's mental health these days but I prefer to speak in terms of mental fitness.

We train our bodies so that we can perform better physically. If we wish to overcome the mental and emotional roadblocks we face in business and life, then we must train our minds in the same way.

When we build our mental levels of strength, endurance and flexibility, we are better equipped to deal with what life throws at us and to respond in a way that aligns with our values.

When we are clear on what we want and value, we can create a plan to take committed action towards it.

This means we take the necessary steps required to move towards what matters most to us, even in the presence of unwanted thoughts and feelings.

The work I do with clients is built upon my mental fitness C.O.R.E practices and high performance pillars.

When these two components are combined, they produce the resilience & resolve to overcome internal resistance and create external results.

If you wanted to become physically fit and your efforts 'going it alone' hadn't produced results, it would make sense to hire a personal trainer. They would guide you, train you, keep you accountable and impart their knowledge so you could get results in the shortest time possible.

Why should the approach to your mental & emotional fitness be any different?

Sure, you can try going it alone but we all know that's not easy, especially when it comes to matters of the mind. That's why I started Bloke Therapy, to offer men like you an alternative to the traditional (and less appealing) options available.

So, if it helps, don't think of me as a coach or therapist but as your mental fitness personal trainer!
